Product Description:
- Utkarsh Metarhoz-P is compliant with The Insecticide Act 1968 and is based on a selective strain of naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium Anisopliae 1%W.P., having CFU count of 1 x 10^8 per gram minimum, Strain: IPL/KC/44, Accession No ITCC 6895. Utkarsh Metarhoz-P is a biopesticide that works as a bio-insecticide prepared by the concept of Biotechnology.
- When the spore of this fungus comes in contact with the cuticle (skin) of the target insect pests, it germinates and grows directly through the spiracle cuticle into the inner body of the host. The fungus proliferates throughout the insect’s body, draining the insect of nutrients and the infected insect eventually dies.

Targeted Insects:
- Effectively controls Root Grub, Termite, Root weevil, shoot borer in Brinjal crop, leaf hoppers, Borers, cutworms, palm weevils etc. in various vegetable and fruit crops
Method of Application and Dose:
- For controlling plant hoppers and bugs - Foliar Spray: Mix Metarhoz – P - 7-10 gm per Liter of water and spray this solution on plants.
- For controlling Grubs, Termites, and Root weevils: Mix Metarhoz – P 1.5 Kg in 200 Liters of water (i.e. 8 gm per Liter of water) and apply the solution in the soil in a 1-acre area.
- Do this application in the evening time after 5-6 pm. Maintain moisture for better results.
- Utkarsh Metarhoz-P can also be used along with Utkarsh Beveroz and Utkarsh Verticoz for excellent results.

A: Yes. 5 gms/litre water. You can try Grub special product Utkarsh GrubNIL that contains Metarhizium Anisoplie.

A: No

Q: Can i use metroz with 19:19:19 npk?
A: No
Q: Once open should use whole pack at once or is there any method to store or to multiply it?
A: You can store it by packing the material such that no air goes inside. We don’t suggest to multiply it.
Q: Can this product be used against root grub problem in Areca nut plantations? and if so, how much is required/acre and mode of application?
A: Yes. Metarhoz can be used for root grubs. Dosage is 1 to 2 kg per acre. Give by spraying in evening.
Q: Can i use this product on cauliflower?
A: Yes. It will control the pests on which it will come in contact.

A: Yes
Q: what is impact of chemical insecticide on it? How long one should avoid other insecticides
A: There is no impact of chemical insecticide. Chemical fungicide is not recommended. If chemical fungicide is used, don’t use Metarhoz for 20 days.
Q: Can you sell only 1 packet ?
A: It is listed but inactive due to technical issues. 2 packet listing is active.
Q: How to mix for potting media?
A: Add 5 to 10 grams in potting mix per pot.
Q: Will it control rhinoceros beetles ?
A: Yes, if it comes in contact with rhinoceros beetle.
Q: Is it useful to control Black thrips in chilli?
A:It may.
Q: Does it work for root grubs, how to apply in my lawn and garden
A: Yea. Take 5 ml per litre water and apply after 6 pm by spraying on all areas of your lawn and soil. Utkarsh Grubnil can also be explored as it also contains Metarhoz along with 5 other species for controlling grubs and other soil borne insects.
Q: Is this product useful for controlling millipedes?
A: Yes. We recommend to use GrubNIL which is advanced formulation to control all kinds of soil insects. GrubNIL contains Metarhizium Anisopliea along with other microorganisms.
Q: Is it helpful to control armyworm in maize
A: Yes.
