Product Description:
Utkarsh 529 Cucumber Seeds produce vigorous vines with fresh, crisp and tender cucumbers, making them ideal for home and kitchen gardens. Suitable for growing in garden beds, grow bags, and large containers, the variety performs well in warm Indian conditions. With adequate sunlight, moisture, nutrition, and support, it can provide a regular harvest of fresh cucumbers.

- Season of sowing: February to April and June to August; suitable timing may vary depending on the local climate.
- Mode of sowing: Direct sowing is recommended. Sow seeds about 2–3 cm deep in the soil, with adequate spacing. It can also be grown in large pots or grow bags.
- Germination time: 3–7 days.
- Sunlight: 6–8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
- Soil Type: Fertile, loose and well-drained loamy or sandy-loam soil enriched with organic matter. Avoid waterlogged soil.
- Watering: Water regularly and moderately to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during flowering and fruit development.
- Harvesting: Approximately 45–60 days after sowing, depending on growing conditions. Harvest cucumbers when they are young, tender and have reached the desired size. Regular harvesting encourages continued fruit production.
- Blooming Period: Generally begins around 4–6 weeks after sowing, followed by continuous flowering and fruit development under suitable conditions.
- Planting Period: February to April and June to August.
- Expected Plant Height: Approximately 1.5–3 metres or more as a climbing vine when grown with proper support.
- Growing Location: Outdoor kitchen gardens, home gardens, raised beds, terraces, large grow bags and gardens with trellis or other climbing support.

- Care Instructions: Provide 6–8 hours of sunlight and install a sturdy trellis or support for the climbing vines. Use fertile soil enriched with compost or organic manure. Guide the vines onto the support as they grow, remove weeds regularly and maintain consistent moisture. Harvest young cucumbers frequently to encourage continuous production.
