Why Use Utkarsh Magnesium Sulphate?
The Problem
-
Yellow leaves despite NPK application
Crops stay yellow even after heavy NPK fertilizer use.
-
Weak, stunted plants
Plants lack structural strength and stop growing prematurely.
-
Poor fruit color or size
Harvests yield small, pale, and low-market-value fruits.
-
Expensive chemical foliar sprays
Specialty sprays are overpriced, difficult to dissolve, and may damage your plants.
The Solution — Utkarsh Magnesium Sulpahte
-
Supplies Magnesium – the center of chlorophyll
Reactivates photosynthesis to turn leaves lush green again.
-
Boosts energy & protein synthesis
Fuels rapid growth for stronger, sturdier crop stems.
-
Enhances sugar transport & quality
Delivers bigger, sweeter, and more colorful produce.
-
Cost-effective, water-soluble & FCO compliant
100% soluble, affordable, and meets government standards.

How to Use — Dosage Guide
Foliar Spray:
Soil Application:
Drip / Fertigation:
When to Use
During vegetative and fruiting stages
- When lower leaves turn yellow (interveinal chlorosis)
- When crops demand high Magnesium (tomato, chilli, cotton, citrus, grapes, potatoes)
When growing in sandy or acidic soils (where magnesium leaches away easily)
Compatibility
✅ Best Compatible With
- Phosphorus-based fertilizers (MAP, MKP, DAP, NPK 00:52:34)
- All Sulphate-based fertilizers (Ammonium Sulphate, Potassium Sulphate (SOP))
- Zinc Sulphate, Ferrous Sulphate, Manganese Sulphate
- Copper Sulphate
❌ Avoid mixing with
- Calcium Nitrate
- Calcium Chloride
- These form insoluble gypsum and reduce nutrient availability.

Magnesium is the central atom in chlorophyll, the green pigment responsible for photosynthesis. It helps in:
- Better photosynthesis and greener leaves
- Stronger root and shoot growth
- Improved fruit setting and size
- Better nutrient and carbohydrate transport
- Yellowing between leaf veins (interveinal chlorosis), while veins remain green
- Symptoms first appear on older leaves
- In severe cases, leaf edges may dry or curl
- Reduced vigor and stunted growth
👉 Tip: If new leaves are dull green or pale despite proper nitrogen and no visible disease, suspect a Magnesium deficiency.
Sulphur improves protein synthesis, enzyme activity, and flavor compounds. It’s vital for crops such as onions, garlic, pulses, and oilseeds.
Use Epsom salt when you need a fast, neutral-pH, fully soluble Mg/S boost, including foliar correction. Lime/dolomite also adds Ca/raises pH, while MgSO₄ does not significantly change soil pH.
Yes 👍
- Foliar Spray: 5 g/L water once a month
- Soil Drench: 1–2 tablespoons in 10 L water per 10 pots
Especially beneficial for roses, citrus, tomatoes, peppers, and indoor plants
Mg-hungry crops (potato, tomato, citrus, peppers, roses) and crops under high K/N that can depress Mg uptake (heavy fruiting/greenhouse crops) show strong responses to Mg foliar/soil corrections.
Foliar sprays can “green up” chlorotic leaves within 7–14 days in active growth; soil/fertigation responses track moisture and root uptake.
- Curative: Every 10–15 days for 2–3 rounds
- Preventive: Once every month during growth and fruiting stages
- ❌ It is not a universal cure for all plant problems.
- ❌ It does not prevent blossom-end rot (that’s caused by Calcium deficiency).
- ✅ It’s highly effective only when plants are Magnesium or Sulphur deficient.
Yes. EDTA chelated form is gentle on plants when used per recommendations. No reports of leaf burn or residue when applied correctly.
