Targeted Action:
Utkarsh Cotton Boll Worm lure is intended for use as an attractant of Cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera) in Farms/ Open and protected cultivation of many crops such as cotton, gram, chickpea, pigeon pea, pea, maize, sunflower, chilly / capsicum etc., in order to trap them for monitoring and mass trapping. This is found to reduce the intensity of pest incidence, leading to a reduction in crop damage thereby improving the yields/output quality.
Product Description:
The Active Ingredient blend of Z-11-Hexadecenal & Z-9-Hexadecenal is a potent attractant for males of Helicoverpa armigera. This liquid formulation @ 3mg is loaded in silicon rubber septa, which are placed in traps in the field.
Application Protocol:

Position the Lure/Dispenser in the funnel/sleeve trap or moth trap and position the trap in various spots throughout the field just above the crop canopy level.
