It provides a dry, stable environment that preserves the viability and population density of beneficial microbes—such as Trichoderma viride and Pseudomonas fluorescens—during storage. Because the talc base is finely milled, it enables smooth, uniform suspension in water for easy application via soil drenching, seed treatment, seedling root dip, or compost enrichment to protect crops against major fungal pathogens.

No, they are not completely water-soluble. Talc is an inert natural mineral used as a carrier for the microbes, and it does not dissolve in water. When you mix the powder with water, it forms a "suspension" rather than a clear solution. The beneficial microbes release from the talc and disperse into the liquid, while the insoluble talc particles will eventually settle at the bottom of the tank or bucket if left still. This is completely normal and does not affect the product's performance. • Create a pre-mix (slurry): Never dump the dry powder directly into a full spray tank. First, mix your required dose in a small bucket with a little water, stirring well to create a smooth, lump-free paste or slurry. Pour this slurry into your main spray tank.
• Strain the mixture: Pour the diluted mixture into your sprayer through a muslin cloth, nylon stocking, or fine mesh sieve. This simple step catches any un-dissolved clumps of talc before they enter the system.
• Adjust your nozzle: If your sprayer has an ultra-fine secondary filter behind the nozzle tip, temporarily remove it for this application. Opt for a slightly wider nozzle (like a flat fan or flood jet) rather than a fine misting or fogging nozzle.
• Maintain agitation: Talc will naturally settle to the bottom if left sitting. Give your tank a vigorous shake before you start spraying, and occasionally swirl or rock the tank while you work to keep the powder suspended.
