How to Use VAMoz-S

Follow these simple application methods for best results

For Farmers (Field Crops, Orchards, Plantations)

Drip Irrigation
Apply 2–3 g/L water through drip system for optimal root colonization
Soil Drench
Mix 2–3 g/L water and apply directly near the root zone
Nursery / Seedling Stage
Use 2–3 g per liter during transplanting for strong root development

For Gardeners / Urban Farmers

Regular Application
Mix 2–3 g/L water and apply near plant roots every 20–25 days
During Potting
Apply during potting or repotting to establish healthy root systems
Transplanting Stage
Use when transplanting seedlings for better establishment
Active Growth Stages
Apply during active growth periods for maximum nutrient uptake

⚠️ Do not foliar spray. Apply to soil/root zone only.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Utkarsh VAMoz-S?

Utkarsh VAMoz-S is a premium mycorrhizal biofertilizer containing Vesicular-Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi formulated at 5000 IP/gm. It’s a dextrose-based, 100% water-soluble powder designed for easy application by drenching, fertigation or drip irrigation.

What does “5000 IP/gm” mean? Why is that important?

IP stands for Inoculum Potential (a measure of viable propagules — spores/colonized root fragments — per gram). 5000 IP/gm means a high density of viable mycorrhizal units in each gram of product.

Higher IP → more propagules delivered per gram → faster and more reliable root colonization, often meaning you can use less product to achieve good colonization compared with low-IP products.

What benefits will I see after applying VAMoz-S?

Expect the core mycorrhizal benefits:

  • Increased root biomass and branching → greater root surface area.
  • Enhanced uptake of immobile nutrients (especially phosphorus, Zn, Cu) and improved water absorption.
  • Better drought and stress tolerance, improved plant vigor and often higher yield/quality.
  • Works cumulatively — benefits can accumulate across cropping seasons.

What dose should I use?

  • 100 g per acre as a practical starter field dose for VAMoz-S (dissolve and apply via drench/fertigation).

Note: Because VAMoz-S is 5000 IP/gm, this 100 g/acre rate delivers a large number of propagules compared to lower-IP powders.

For nursery pots or home gardens, scale down proportionally (for example 1–5 g per pot depending on pot size). Always follow the pack label for final recommended rates and local adjustments.

How often should I apply VAMoz-S?

Mycorrhiza are meant to establish once and persist; common practice: apply at planting/transplanting (best) and optionally repeat in poor soils or when re-establishing after disturbance.

For fertigation users, one to two applications per season (at transplant & early vegetative stage) are typical. The product will colonize and then function season-long.

Can I use VAMoz-S with my existing fertilizer program & other bioinputs?

Yes — VAMoz-S works with most organic manures, biofertilizers, and many biopesticides.

Just keep two things in mind:

  1. Don’t overload phosphorus at the time of application. Too much available P stops the VAM fungus from connecting with the roots.
  2. Don’t mix it with strong fungicides or sterilizing chemicals. These can kill the fungal spores.

If you must use a chemical fungicide, apply it well before, or wait a few weeks after using VAMoz-S, so the fungus gets time to settle and grow.

How quickly will I see benefits?

Root colonization starts within weeks after proper application. Visible plant responses (greener plants, improved vigor, better response to fertilizers) typically appear within 2–6 weeks depending on crop, soil and conditions; yield responses may appear within the crop cycle.

High-IP products like VAMoz-S often show faster colonization compared to low-IP powders.

How is VAMoz-S different from liquid/soluble mycorrhiza products on the global market?

VAMoz-S has a high inoculum potential (5000 IP) and comes in a dextrose base, so it dissolves fully in water.

That means it runs smoothly through drip and fertigation systems without clogging, even on large farms.

Most regular VAM powders don’t dissolve well or have lower IP, so farmers need to apply much larger quantities to get the same effect.

Can VAMoz-S be used with Trichoderma or other biocontrols?

In general, yes — VAM plus biocontrols/biofertilizers are often complementary. However, some research indicates interactions depend on strains and timing (e.g., Trichoderma can compete for root sites in some situations).

Best practice: apply VAMoz-S at planting, and if applying Trichoderma products, consider staggering the timing (e.g., Trichoderma a week or two later) to allow initial mycorrhizal establishment.

Is it safe and residue-free?

Yes. EDTA chelated form is gentle on plants when used per recommendations. No reports of leaf burn or residue when applied correctly.
